Next time you pull out your phone or camera to take a photo or video in your day to day…just ask yourself these three questions.

A friend of mine who grew up in the golden area of film photography told me a story of her mother. Every event was a reason to pull out the camera. Not present, just there with her camera. Worst part is, she has no idea what her mom ever did with all those photos she took. She told me that is why she doesn’t take a camera with her now and doesn’t have a smart phone.

Phones are great. Cameras are fantastic. The iPhone is one of the best cameras ever made I’ll argue. To make sure I’m present, I’ll leave my cameras at home and grab a Kodak fun saver. Yes that’s a disposable camera, they still make them. Pause, ask yourself if this was once you.
