About Luke + Sara
Too fast to blink.
If you’re anything like Nicole and I, we loved celebrating our special day with friends and family. With all the planning that went on, the day came much faster than we thought it would. Before we knew it, the day was over and we found ourselves in a McDonald’s drive-through ordering breakfast burritos at 11 PM.
Not everyone will find themselves in this situation but it really hit us hard by the end of the night that it was over. We were happy but also sad that the party was over. What helped us the most was finding moments to pause and reflect as we went through the day. Luke and Sara‘s wedding was no different than ours in that same sense. Much planning went into it and it went by so fast.
Any wedding we do, we plan on having our couples take moments to rest, take a breath and focus on centering themselves. Let yourself be present and dance the night away with all of your friends and family. Being back at the Brower Barn reminded me of my sister’s wedding and even just being a part of that wedding, the day went by just as fast. No matter if you’re getting married, in the wedding, or just a friend there to support your friends and family, you need these moments. Take the time to be present with yourself, those around you and maybe with the bride and groom. You’ll thank yourself later.
